I despise all airports, terminals, security check points & gates. I wish that I could travel carelessly & not worry about
getting on flights, time restraints, lugging around my 50 pound carry-ons that actually aren't even suppose to carry-
ons at all, totally over regulation size.
I got stuck at LAX yesterday for a while, so instead of twiddling my thumbs & having a breakdown/panic attack in the
women's bathroom I walked around & took pictures. Some were taken on the airplane though. I actually had them
hand inspect my film because I was scared x-ray was going to ruin them. The guy who hand checked them was telling
me he wanted to buy my camera from me because he was going to Brazil next year. He was telling me how pretty it
is & how he goes there really often & of course how I should go. That would be wonderful, however I am permanently
scared, traveling is definitely NOT my favorite thing to do. I'll always do it to see my sister though.
This past time was particularly a very bad experience. Let me start from the beginning. So the night before I planned on
leaving I was informed that I was to ride on Northwest, instead of United because I'd have a better chance of getting home
through my aunty rather than my fathers traveling pass. So I was to try for the first flight on United & if that wasn't success-
ful I was to take an airport shuttle to Northwest. But... Northwest has recently merged with Delta so now things because very
confusing. Was I suppose to go to the Northwest gate or the Delta gate? Any way long story short I said "hell no," & decided
to just wait and take my chances with United. So they call all of the standby passengers up who have seats which are like 10
& don't call my name. I have to wait till the very end, till the door closes & the gate is detached from the airplane. At the last
second they call my name & tell me to run to my seat. I wanted to cry because my chances of getting on that plane were slim
to none. Out of 75 standbys I was 1 of them who got a seat. I sit down and heave my carry on under the chair & sit back &
take a deep breath. Before I could finish that deep breath I got kicked off the plane because the lady who was suppose to have
my seat was getting food & didn't hear her name being called.
So happy ending I got on the next flight, got first class, got drunk & now I'm home ( : horray! NOT. Who forgot to tell me were
getting hit by a massive storm this weekend?!?!?! Someone failed to tell me this. Any way. Enjoy the pictures. I have a wedding
tomorrow at 9, then am going to Mililani a little after the wedding, then I have a party at my co-workers house. Busy, busy, busy.
Have a good weekend.
